All that remains of the pre-election promises are debts. The announced 500-euro rewards for participation in the elections, which were used by Igor Matović’s Slovakia movement as a condition for its post-election representation in the coalition, allegedly deceived many Roma residents. The elections were dominated by Smer, and there was nothing of the OĽaNO government, but voters remember the politicians’ visits and ask where their money is that they wrote about on advertising banners. Several of them went into debt to usurers for the prospect of high remuneration.
