The opposition in Prague 11 wants to recall the councillor. They say he has no respect for the Vietnamese community
Representatives of TOP 09 and STAN want to present a motion to dismiss Libor Vrkoč (Hnutí pro Prahu 11), a vacant Prague 11 council member who is responsible for transportation in the Chodov area, at a meeting of the Prague 11 City Council on Thursday, 20 April. According to the opposition, he should leave his post for several reasons. The most immediate – or perhaps the proverbial “last straw” – is the allegedly disrespectful remarks he made about his fellow Vietnamese citizens. The term “gooks”, which is not supposed to be used in public speeches, will thus apparently be used in every sense at the council meeting.
