Lawmakers forgot about the comma in the amendment and changed its meaning. Renewable energy can take the hit
Wind power plants are to be included as renewable sources in the technical infrastructure that is easier to build. These have so far been built in the Czech Republic only with great difficulty, due to the opposition of municipalities, regions and residents. Just one missing comma in the text can make a big difference, for example, by changing the meaning of the adopted law. The Ministry of Industry and Trade knows this. In the long-prepared amendment to the Energy Act, the so-called RES I lex, which simplifies the development of renewable energy sources, such a mistake was made.
