Luděk Eichler, the former head of the Railways Administration office , allowed his two subordinates to embezzle more than CZK 1.6 million. For seven months, Luděk Eichler, the former head of the office of the Railways Administration, signed cash receipts for an average of more than CZK 10 000 a day for his two subordinates, Lucie Steiniger and Michaela Štěpánková. However, the money intended for the representation and running of the office was in fact used to buy things for themselves – trips, clothes, gifts or drugstores. The embezzlement was discovered in early 2019 and all three ended up in court this summer.
