A sixty-nine-year-old female scooter driver died on Friday after a collision with a police car in Prostějov. The woman drove from a side street onto the main street directly into a passing car. A police vehicle and a scooter were involved in a traffic accident on Olomoucká Street in Prostějov just before 1.30pm today. According to initial information, the 69-year-old female driver of the scooter drove from the side street Jaroslava Haška onto the main street Olomoucká at the moment when a police vehicle was passing by,” informed Libor Hejtman, spokesman of the Regional Directorate of the Police of the Czech Republic in Olomouc.
