The Nazi rampage in Javoříčko, Lidice and Ležáky is one of the most well-known and remembered events in the Czech Republic. Comparable to them, and in some respects even worse, is the massacre, which, however, was not allowed to be talked about for a long time. The violent death of 267 people, mostly women and children, near Přerov was an incomprehensible act of violence, sick revenge and calculation.
