Křetínský’s British power company was fined more than half a billion. It charged too much money for not producing
Because of Daniel Křetínský’s power plant, the British were paying unjustifiably high prices for electricity. The regulator has therefore imposed a relatively high fine on him. British energy regulator Ofgem has fined EP SHB, which operates the South Humber Bank power station in Yorkshire and the Humber, £23.6 million for breaching its licence conditions. The gas-fired plant is part of the empire of Czech billionaire Daniel Křetínský.
