Head of the Judicial Council: we are not like Poland and Hungary. We are not like Hungary, we are not like the European Court of Justice
At the European level, there is a conviction that the rule of law is a respected principle in the Slovak Republic, which is reflected in the practice and life of the whole society, said Ján Mazák, the President of the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic. He pointed out that a number of European institutions, particularly with regard to the independence of the judiciary, blame the poor state of the rule of law, especially in Hungary and Poland.
