Why is Green Raoul quitting? We don’t know, after 28 years an e-mail arrived, says cartoonist Mareš. He won’t continue elsewhere
The cult comic Green Raoul, which ran for 28 years in Reflex magazine, is coming to an end. Its authors do not know the reasons. They found out about the termination in an e-mail they received on Sunday. “It’s a shock. I’ve never encountered anything like this,” says cartoonist Štěpán Mareš in an interview. According to him, comics from the environment of Czech politics are definitely coming to an end. He will not seek any other refuge for it.
