World medical records, new Polish record is 12 promile (‰), Czechs still hold a nice second place

Drunken man broke medical records: he had 12 per millilitres of alcohol in his blood

Doctors measured an incredible amount of alcohol in the blood of a patient at a police laboratory in Lodz, Poland. But that’s exactly how much they found in the blood of a 45-year-old man who was brought to hospital by ambulance after being hit by a car. His injuries are not serious. According to the driver, the man was not lying on the road, but moving from ditch to ditch. The man, who survived his own death, has no memory of anything, and was unable to speak at all on the first day of his hospital stay.
