The article Hitler the Gentleman has been found. But he did not appreciate Hitler and Peroutka did not write him
The famous article entitled Hitler – Gentleman was indeed published, but in Red Law, not in Peroutka’s Presence. Moreover, it did not praise Hitler, but rather condemned the attack of the right-wing agrarian newspaper Venkov against the National Socialists, to whom Peroutka was close. However, the spokesman for the Castle, Jiří Ovčáček, denied that the article found in 1937 was the text to which President Miloš Zeman was referring.
