According to the findings of Deník N, the Prague administration is planning to build an institute for people with disabilities 130 kilometers from the capital. Last year, it committed to prioritising the provision of community services in Prague. A petition has been launched against the current plan, which was supported by former ombudsman Anna Šabatová. “This is a violation of the UN Convention and takes us back to the days of the previous regime,” she warned.
