President’s driver crashed while drunk, faces up to three years in prison
The General Inspectorate of Security Forces (GIBS) has begun prosecuting the driver of President Petr Pavel. The chief prosecutor told iROZHLAS.cz and Radiožurnál. The driver, Václav K., caused a traffic accident in early February when he crashed while under the influence of alcohol. If found guilty, he faces up to three years behind bars. The incident took place on Saturday 8 February in the village of Česká Čermná near the border with Poland.
