People from poorer regions spend the largest share of their income on housing and food, on average over 50 percent
Karlovy Vary and Ústí nad Labem regions, as well as eastern and northern Moravia and Silesia. These are regions where people have less money left after paying for housing and food than elsewhere in the Czech Republic. This is according to the January data from the project Life to be paid, on which Radiožurnál cooperates with PAQ Research. Sociologists regularly ask about 1,600 households about their economic situation.
