Hungary to buy 12 L-39NG aircraft from Aero Vodochody
Hungary will purchase eight L-39NG aircraft from Aero Vodochody for pilot training and another four of this type for reconnaissance purposes. The announcement was made on Thursday by the Hungarian government’s state secretary for defence, Gáspár Maróth. The training machines will be used for the continued training of pilots flying JAS-39C Gripen fighters. Hungary previously used L-39ZA Albatros aircraft for training, but has retired them.
