Sponsors accused of corruption, ODS does not intend to return millions
The two main accused in the case of corruption and contract manipulation in the Olomouc region sent financial gifts to ODS. In total, Robert Knobloch supported the party with more than CZK 1.5 million, while Michal Zácha sent more than CZK 600 000. The Civic Democratic Party, headed by Prime Minister Petr Fiala, does not intend to return the sponsorship donations exceeding a total of CZK 2 million sent to its account in recent years by Olomouc businessmen and officials Robert Knobloch and Michal Zácha.
