Nova Nikolajka
More than two years ago, hundreds of trees fell to the ground on Nikolajka. The company behind the felling was Central Group, which decided to build two apartment buildings with six floors and more than 100 apartments and 140 garage spaces near the winter complex. The developer and the building authority argued that everything was in order and in accordance with the building permit. For local residents, the loss of green space and the construction of many flats means a significant burden and a deterioration in the quality of housing. The Nikolajka area is located in the Smíchov conservation area.
