A straight-up ‘no comment.’ We found a bar where an important general was seriously slashed during the night
For more than a week now, war veteran and high-ranking general Roman Hyťha has been recovering from a knife attack that left him in a Brno hospital with a slashed arm. Behind the bar stands Libor Dostál, who has been running Alterna in the VUT premises since 1990. When a reporter from the daily newspaper asks whether it would be possible to ask a few questions about the events leading up to the stabbing of General Roman Hyťha, Dostál shows no interest. “A straight-up no comment,” he says after further questions, and ends the conversation with the reporter. He claims no one has forbidden him to speak about the incident — he just doesn’t want to talk about it.
