When the United States limited its support for some of the weapons used by the Ukrainians to fight the Russian aggressor, for example by stopping to upgrade the radar jammers on F-16s, questions were raised about the extent to which it could limit some of the functions of aircraft supplied by its allies. There has been speculation in Germany that the newly acquired F-35As, which the Czech Republic is also acquiring for its arsenal, can be remotely disabled.
