The role of the Czech Republic as the sulking child of Europe must end, says Danuše Nerudová. She would accept an offer to become a European Commissioner
Danuše Nerudová has announced her candidacy for the European Parliament on behalf of the STAN movement. Danuše Nerudová arrived for an interview with HN immediately after a meeting of the STAN movement’s board, at which chair Vít Rakušan praised the fact that he had managed to win the “battle for Nerudová”. He had fought this battle mainly with TOP 09 chairwoman Markéta Pekarova Adamová. The STAN movement, which will run as an independent candidate, hopes to attract the votes of young people from Nerudová and get over 10 % in the EU elections. And the economist and former rector of Mendel University in Brno herself speaks of a similar gain as a success.
