The cop-turned-convict is suing everyone. But it’s impossible to fire him
The police do not know what to do with their rather peculiar officer, who is filing criminal charges against his colleagues as if he were on a treadmill and even suing the Interior Minister. He has been out of line in other ways. In his time he was a Hussite parish priest and also stood for the Communists. The National Centre against Organized Crime has been trying in vain to fire Rostislav Kotrč since 2013, and he is not very popular among police officers. But he has been winning in court and holding on to his position.
