Moneta won’t pay windfall tax, it paid out profits to shareholders and will borrow for operations

Five Czech banks will have to pay higher taxes. The state will use them to pay for energy

The windfall tax will be paid by large banks with net interest income of CZK 6 billion or more. Involuntarily, they will contribute to compensate the high costs of gas and electricity for people and companies.
