Transcon sales director Mazanek gets his passport back, can travel from Senegal
According to Senegalese authorities, the amount of the damage caused was one hundred million euros (almost 2.5 billion crowns).The company denied wrongdoing at the time, but according to Transcon CEO Vladimír Drábek, it was a misunderstanding that could have been caused by a change in Senegalese management. Mazanek faced a prison sentence of between one and five years and Transcon was fined hundreds of millions of euros. He was released from prison on 5 June.
