See the full chronology of this tragic event, which affected the whole of Slovakia.19 January 2006 – A military aircraft with Slovak KFOR contingent members took off from Pristina airport at 17.15 hrs CET and took the direction of flight to Košice, where it was to land at 19.40 hrs. A Slovak AN24 military aircraft crashed in eastern Hungary.Hungarian air controllers lost radar contact with the machine shortly after 7.30 p.m. The aircraft crashed and caught fire near the Slovak border.- Rescue units found one survivor of the crash. It was a soldier Martin Farkas.
