“My family received a draft notice. If I appeared on Russian territory, I would be immediately conscripted into the army. But I have Czech citizenship and the government has no right to extradite me,” says Russian Timofey Kozukhov, who has lived in the Czech Republic since he was six years old. “There is no chance that the ordinary Russian people will be able to overthrow the regime. The tactics used by Putin are making the country’s protests weaker every year,” he adds.
