Group of MEPs asks EU institutions to strip Hungary of voting rights
This is a reaction of MEPs to the recent visits of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán to Moscow and Beijing. In a joint letter on Tuesday, a group of 63 Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) from several political groups and several EU member states called on the leaders of the EU institutions to strip Hungary of its voting rights. This is the MEPs’ reaction to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s recent visits to Moscow and Beijing, Reuters and APA news agencies suggested.
