Students of Masaryk University criticize high suction power, they pay CZK 5,000 for five squares

The conditions do not correspond to the price, students in Brno complain to the college. They have written a petition

Students at Masaryk University in Brno are protesting against the increase in the price of dormitory fees. The price of their accommodation has already increased by a third last autumn and by a further 15% since February due to inflation. They claim that it does not correspond to the quality. “When I came to the dormitories, the price was around CZK 3 000. Now we will be paying 5160 crowns – for a 15 square metre room with three of us,” Natália, a third-year student, told Seznam Zprávi.
