Kidnapping? Five Czechs disappeared in Lebanon, the money was left in the car
Five Czech citizens have disappeared in eastern Lebanon. The Czechs, aged between 25 and 47, were apparently kidnapped. Police found a suitcase containing their belongings in an abandoned car. The taxi, whose Lebanese driver is also missing, was found at dawn 300 metres from a military checkpoint near the town of Kafraja in the western part of Lebanon’s Bikaa Valley, which is close to the Syrian border. The disappearances were brought to the attention of the father of a taxi driver who did not arrive home that night. Czech and Lebanese money, euros and three video cameras, which apparently belonged to Czechs, were found in the car, the Lebanese newspaper The Daily Star reported.
