Křetínský goes to battle with the unions. There will be layoffs at ThyssenKrupp. And not a few
The steel division of the German industrial group Thyssenkrupp intends to reduce the number of employees to around 16,000 in the next six years from around 27,000 at present. The company said today it plans to cut 5,000 jobs by 2030, according to the DPA news agency. A further 6,000 employees are to be cut as a result of the sale of parts of the business and the transfer of activities to external service providers.
