Košice’s KVP district will introduce residential parking from March, prompting mixed reactions
Residents of Košice’s KVP housing estate can now register for the residential parking system, which is set to take effect in March. The regulation has sparked mixed reactions — some welcome it, while others have reservations. Around 22,000 people live in the KVP district. Parking has long been a problem, which is why the city district has decided to address it with a residential parking scheme.
Note: You could register your permanent address in the housing estate where you crash at a friend’s for work and pay the city €500 a year through your taxes – or skip it and pay €200 a month instead.
