Czech arms factory faces suspicion of industrial espionage, it was supposed to copy a Slovak howitzer
Three weeks ago, Slovak Denník N published an interview with Colonel Roman Bobal, the highest-ranking artilleryman in the Slovak army. He described Dita as a plagiarism, saying that the manufacturer had only changed the packaging, but the technology was identical. It is said to have the same barrel, brake, loading device, elevation components, feeders or lafette as the Slovak Zuzana 2000. Bobal’ reportedly informed both military intelligence and the Ministry of Defence of his suspicions. Denník N found that as early as 2020 the head of the state-owned Konstrukta Defence, which is the manufacturer of the Zuzana, had also warned of a possible industrial theft.
