Behind the scenes in the KDU-ČSL, mobbing, spying, the edge of the law and the deed is unlikely to happen

What do former subordinates say about Jureček’s deputy? Spying, locker searches, popularity-based selection procedures, orders on the edge of the law.

Police in Liberec are conducting a criminal investigation into possible bullying and mobbing at the local employment office. The problem was brought to the attention of several employees and concerns the actions of the former director and now Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Kateřina Sadílková and her colleague Marcela Ottová. The matter was also investigated by the Labour Office Inspectorate and the results of the inspection with serious findings were sent to the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. Minister Marian Jurečka (KDU-ČSL), however, is holding on to his subordinate and has “taken on” the current Director General of the Labour Office of the Czech Republic, Viktor Najmon, whom he reproaches. In his view, he is not active enough in organising the office, which is facing an onslaught of applications.
