Ten years ago, data journalist Jan Cibulka from Czech Radio requested a complete digital model of the relief of the Czech Republic from the Geodetic Survey. But the office told him that he had to pay almost CZK 3 million for the data. The journalist defended himself against this, but found no defence anywhere, which was only changed by the Constitutional Court, which said that the amount was excessive.
