The international gang allegedly deprived two Czech banks and one insurance company of CZK 1.4 billion. He used fictitious steel deals to do so. Czech police have proposed to charge four people, three Czech citizens and one foreigner. Jaroslav Ibehej, a spokesman for the National Centre against Organised Crime (NCOZ), said on the police website on Monday. Czech police were investigating the case together with officers from the UK, where Ibehej said the main perpetrators who ran the gang were being prosecuted. According to Czech Radio – Radiožurnál, the accused include representatives of the Prague companies Balli Steel Czech and Swiss Forfait.
