Půta, accused of corruption, will sit on the ČEZ supervisory board
The trial of Martin Půta (Mayors for the Liberec Region) begins tomorrow, in which the prosecutor wants five years behind bars for corruption and abuse of power, but he is already reaching for another lucrative position in a public company. The government has nominated Puta as a member of the supervisory board of CEZ. The latter has become “famous” in recent days for approving further extreme bonuses for the company’s executives.
