Grants for gender audits: The spent money did little to reduce the gender disparities in the labor market
The Supreme Audit Office (NKÚ) examined the use of grants allocated between 2014 and 2021 for so-called gender audits and the implementation of their recommendations into practice. The goal of the grants provided from the Employment Operational Program 2014–2020 (OPZ) and co-financed by the state budget was to reduce the gender disparities in the labor market. NKÚ inspected the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (MPSV) and selected grant recipients. A total of 14 projects were audited out of 68. The amount of money reviewed was 1.63 million EUR.
