Cross-country skiing for Krkonoše specialties. You’ll pay extra, but it’s worth it
The winter Krkonoše Mountains attract many cross-country skiers. Our highest mountains are inhabited even at the highest altitudes and many mountain lodges and cottages offer not only sporting experiences but also gastronomic ones. And the local specialties are worth trying. We’ve prepared a moderately demanding cross-country skiing circuit with five stops at places that cook well. The route starts at the top of Přední Planina, towering high above Špindlerův Mlýn. A chairlift leads from Svatý Petr to this point, taking you quickly and effortlessly to a height of approximately 1,150 metres above sea level.
