The former head of a state agency was fined for audit fraud. It took 13 years

Miroslav Křížek, the former director general of the CzechInvest agency, walked out of court with a fine. According to the verdict, he paid his friend 2.2 million for an unnecessary and poor quality audit. Miroslav Křížek, a former ODS politician, was fined CZK 1.2 million for a fraud of more than CZK 2 million from his time running the government agency CzechInvest. According to the final verdict, Křížek manipulated a tender for a personnel audit. He awarded the contract to a friend of his and the audit disappeared for a long time. When it was found, it turned out to be unusable material full of errors and typos.
