At least ten people were injured today in an explosion and subsequent fire in a block of flats in Ostrava. Five units of firefighters are on the scene fighting the flames. “Five units of firefighters are currently intervening at a fire in an apartment building in Ostrava-Dubina. It is on the seventh floor. Three people have been rescued, the evacuation of the residents from the lower floors below the affected apartment is currently underway,” the firefighters said on the X network. According to initial information, the fire was preceded by an explosion, which also caused windows and doors to be blown out.
