Children were forced to pray and go barefoot on pilgrimage, Markiza described practices at the Trnava orphanage
The Slovak prosecutor’s office has cancelled a programme at the Centre for Children and Families in Trnava due to questionable practices. The children there were forced to pray several times a day, go to church or make a difficult pilgrimage in Bosnia and walk on rocks without shoes under threat of punishment. The centre even sent one of them to an exorcist. The staff had to sprinkle the corridors with holy water every day.
