Lipšic wants to wiretapping phones without court approval
Eavesdropping on citizens without court approval? Special prosecutor Daniel Lipšic thinks it is necessary. He argues that the case of the attack in front of the Tepláreň bar was a case where the police quickly identified the shooter, but only managed to track him down when he was dead. Daniel Lipšic proposed to the MPs the possibility of police tapping phones in special cases without a judge’s or prosecutor’s order. It would certainly be a good idea to regulate the situation in the Criminal Procedure Code so that the police could start tapping phones in such situations without a warrant from a judge or prosecutor.
