Conflicts in the underworld. Pitr’s men have gone to war against the boss of the Balkan mafia
Two former police officers and associates of controversial businessman Tomáš Pitr have taken another step in their fight against the Balkan mafia. After a scuffle in the centre of Prague in March, Pavel Šrytr, together with Luděk Žákovec, have now posted an appeal on the internet which – although not by name – targets the boss Bojan, alias Baskim Kjazimi
Comment: What’s interesting about the whole incident is that a video recording of it quickly surfaced and was even published in the media. Considering how nearly impossible it is to privately obtain CCTV footage from any location (for example, if someone robs you), it’s highly likely that there’s a direct connection between the underworld, the police, and the media.
