Slovakia has been an ammunition depot for European criminals, the latest case from Sweden proves
In January, Swedes caught a man in the city of Malmö who was buying weapons for local criminal gangs in Slovakia. Europol says up to 10,000 weapons were smuggled out of Slovakia in a similar way between 2009 and 2014. Slovakia has developed a reputation in recent years as an ammunition depot for European terrorists, criminals and drug gangs, as evidenced by a new bust in Malmö, Sweden, in which a 32-year-old arms dealer was caught.
