Dubský cibulák celebrates 140 years, the future of production in North Czechia is uncertain
Dubí (Teplice region) – Czech Porcelain Dubí celebrates 140 years of onionskin production. The aim this year is to stabilize the company, which last year made a loss of CZK 16 million. Note: The Dubský cibulák (and the pattern) originated in the porcelain factory in Meissen (Germany). It came to Dubí after the Meissen porcelain factory bought the local factory in 1885 and started producing cibulák under another brand name.
