The drunken sin doesn’t bother the State Department. Former MEP to decide on diplomats
Jana Hybášková, a long-time diplomat and former MEP, has taken up a prestigious post. At the Foreign Ministry, she has been put in charge of the personnel department, which is one of the key positions within the ministerial structures. The Foreign Ministry’s Personnel Department co-determines the departures of diplomats on missions abroad. It also starts the process of nominating ambassadors and decides who else will wait in the diplomatic locker room, as they say in the ministry’s jargon.
