Mission to Venus with Czech footprint. Domestic scientists will assemble the “heart” of the European probe
Czech scientists will also participate in the preparation of the European spacecraft EnVision, which is to map the surface and atmosphere of Venus using optical, spectral and radar instruments. They will test and assemble the electronic “heart” of the instrument – the complete control electronics for the trio of spectrometers, the Academy of Sciences said. The probe is due to launch to the closest planet to Earth in 2031.
