Court dismisses family’s lawsuit over botched birth
The lawsuit filed by the family, which has been suing the Olomouc University Hospital (FNO) since 2012 for what it says was a poorly managed birth, was dismissed by the Olomouc District Court (OS) on Wednesday. The parents, who are convinced that doctors used the banned Kristeller expression, a method in which the obstetrician pushes on the mother’s abdomen with his elbow, demanded CZK 16.9 million from FNO during the birth.
