Police officers stopped a driver fleeing Germany with a booby-trapped truck on the D8
The D8 motorway in the direction to Prague from the 80th kilometer was stationary for several hours. The reason was the intervention of police officers this morning against a driver fleeing from Germany in a stolen car. The man crashed while trying to avoid the roadblock. German police officers first pursued the driver fleeing in the stolen vehicle from Dresden in the direction of our border. In cooperation with police officers from Ústí nad Labem, they then managed to apprehend the driver, police spokeswoman Veronika Hyšplerová said.
