The Milky Way as you’ve never seen it before. Young astrophotographer stuns the world with images
In the DarkSky International competition he scored with a picture from Bohemia, specifically from Jizerka. The expert jury awarded Oldřich the first place in the Young Astrophotographers category. Oldřich sometimes travels abroad to take pictures. For example, he photographed the sky in Tenerife. This year he is going to the Canary Islands, specifically to the island of La Palma. In December he wants to photograph the Geminids meteor shower there. His work doesn’t end when he presses the shutter. Then comes the processing of the photos. For the simpler ones, you just have to play with contrast and colour and you’re done.
