Almost anything can be imported into Nigeria, the market is huge
Nigeria, with its 211 million inhabitants and rich oil resources, is an African power. And an interesting target for business. However, it now ranks only fifth in the ranking of Czech exports to the black continent. Which is a shame and a missed opportunity in business terms. “Virtually anything can be imported to Nigeria, because almost everything is missing,” Štěpán Beneš, director of the CzechTrade office in Lagos, Nigeria, told the weekly Ekonom. He adds that 95 per cent of things Nigerians import from abroad.
